The YATA 2024 Conference, taking place in San Diego on November 13th, 14th, and 15th, 2024, is a must-attend event for professionals working with young adults. With a focus on mental health, life skills, and wellness, attendees can expect to explore the latest trends in treatment, advocacy, and support programs. From therapists to business owners to direct care staff, admissions, and marketing, to professionals who provide referral recommendations, this conference aims to provide valuable insights and tools for those dedicated to helping young adults thrive.

What We Are Looking For

The conference aims to explore the latest trends in young adult treatment, advocacy, and support programs, providing attendees with valuable insights and information to enhance their work with this population.

Topics we are looking for include the latest in resilience and reinvention, (but are not limited to):

Submission Guidelines

Prospective presenters are invited to submit complete, original presentation submissions using the application below. If you are submitting for multiple topics, complete a form for each topic. Applications must be completed in their entirety, and all information must be present for consideration. To be eligible for CEUs, we need full and accurate information.

Presenter Responsibilities:

• Presenters are responsible for their expenses to attend the conference. Registration fees are WAIVED for YATA 2024 Conference presenters!
• Presenters are responsible for registering for the conference (a complimentary discount code will be provided upon your confirmation)
• Copies of handouts for distribution
• Providing your laptop for the presentation
• Responsible for registering for your guest room - A link to reserve guest rooms will be provided upon submission approval.

CONFERENCE DETAILS

Presentations will be scheduled on Thursday, November 14th, and Friday, November 15th at the Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa in San Diego.

Presentations should be ONE HOUR in length and will be eligible for 1 CE. To be considered as a speaker, please be prepared to submit the following via our online portal:

1. Brief biography highlighting your relevant experience
2. Summary of your proposed presentation
3. Any supporting materials (e.g., previous speaking engagements, publications)
4. All requested items listed in the speaker portal questionnaire

Selection Process

Our expert review committee will evaluate all submissions based on relevance, originality, and potential impact. Accepted speakers will be notified by July 31, 2024
